It had been a while since I had worked out consistently and was finding it difficult to get back into my gym routine after such a long break, and my friend’s upcoming wedding was a motivation for me to try to get back into my routine. I had tried to motivate myself but felt like I needed an extra push to get me back on track.
Although I found the sessions really tough, I walked away knowing that I had given it absolutely my all. I felt that the sessions were tailored to what I wanted to work on, with a variety that stopped me getting bored with the same routine. I also found it helpful to have a specific programme put together for me to use on my own and clearly setting out days for different types of exercise was also good as it made me aware of what I should be aiming to do each week.
They definitely gave me a better idea of what I am capable of and helped me when working out on my own in knowing how far I can go and in allowing myself to give it that bit more. It helped me understand how hard I should be pushing myself to get benefits from my workouts.
